Privacy

Last updated October 8, 2026

Steeler Nation Daily has no accounts and no sign-up, and it never asks for your name or email. This page lists everything the site stores or measures, and the other companies involved in serving it.

What stays on your device

Your progress is saved in your browser's local storage: today's Mystery, Deep Cut and Drill, your day streak, your lifetime total, a challenge score from a shared link, and whether sound is muted. It is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data erases it.

Visit counts

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser, and does not follow you to other websites. For each page view it records:

• the page address and the page that linked you here
• an approximate location (country, region, city)
• your device type, operating system, and browser

It does not tell visitors apart or build a profile of you. The figures are only seen in aggregate. Cloudflare explains this in its Web Analytics overview.

Other companies involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
• Freestar and its demand partners serve the ads on the game page. See the Ads section below, and Freestar's privacy policy.
• X only comes into it if you press Share. That opens x.com (or your phone's share sheet) with your result filled in, and nothing is posted unless you post it.
• Ko-fi only comes into it if a tip link is shown and you follow it. See Tips below.

Ads

Ads on the game page come through Freestar. Ads keep the game free; they are never placed inside the game itself.

• Freestar and its demand partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any personalized ads are shown. The choices are presented by Freestar's consent tool.
• Visitors in US states with privacy laws (such as California) get a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" choice through the same tool.

Tips

Tipping is optional. If a tip link is shown, it opens a page on Ko-fi (ko-fi.com), which takes payment through Stripe or PayPal and handles your details under its own privacy policy. Steeler Nation Daily never sees your card number.
